Julia is a Managing Member at Sonoma Aviation, renowned for her forward-thinking approach in operational technology, marketing, strategy, and client service. At the core of Julia’s management philosophy is a blend of technology-driven solutions and human-centered approaches. Her leadership is characterized by a focus on fostering a culture of innovation.

Her career is a testament to her versatility and strategic vision, having worked in corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions for Epsilon and South River Aviation. Julia’s journey also includes a role as a Mechanical Engineer at both Motorola and NASA, showcasing her technical acumen and innovative mindset.

Julia’s academic background is as impressive as her professional journey. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from George Washington University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. 

Her commitment to community and industry development is evident through her active participation in various organizations. She serves as a member of the Board of Directors of The First National Bank of Mertzon and as a Director and past Board Chair of Sonoma Country Day School. Furthermore, Julia is deeply involved in aviation community initiatives, volunteering for EAA Chapter 124, Young Eagles, and Women in Aviation’s Girls in Aviation Day.

‘Her passion for aviation extends beyond professional and volunteer roles. Julia has organized several TEDxSonoma County events, contributing to the spread of innovative ideas in aviation and beyond. As a former member of the Board of Directors of the Pacific Coast Air Museum, she has played a vital role in preserving aviation history. Adding to her impressive portfolio, Julia is also a licensed Private Pilot.
